Museo de Cera Tijuana

The museum opened its doors on February 5, 1993, and, to this day, it exhibits 86 figures organized by themes, including a room dedicated to the history of Mexico, the Statesmen Room (Great Leaders of the 20th Century), the National and International Artists Room, and the Terror Room.

By touring these figures and reading the texts about their works and actions, visitors experience a brief overview of Mexican history, enhanced by period paintings, stage sets, and the impressive realism of both past and contemporary heroes and artists.

There are three wax museums in Mexico: one located in the nation’s capital, another in Guadalajara, and a third one in Tijuana.
