Description

The Diana Cazadora Monument in Tijuana is a smaller replica of the iconic fountain from Mexico City, located at the roundabout of Paseo del Centenario and Avenida General Manuel Márquez de León in Zona Río. Donated by businessman Ricardo Parra Montes in 1987, it was sculpted following the original design by Juan Fernando Olaguíbel, representing the Roman goddess Diana, the stellar huntress. The figure has become an urban symbol of freedom and female strength, as well as a popular landmark and photo spot in the city.
